Cybersäkerhetslagen (Swedish Cybersecurity Act)
Published Reviewed
Cybersäkerhetslagen is the Swedish act that transposes the EU NIS2 directive into national law. It decides which Swedish organisations count as essential or important entities, sets the registration duty, appoints the sector supervisory authorities with MSB in the coordinating role, and carries NIS2’s risk management, incident reporting, and management liability requirements into Swedish enforcement. Swedish companies comply with NIS2 through this act, not through the directive text itself.
