Due diligence statement (EUDR)
Published Reviewed
A due diligence statement is the declaration an operator or trader submits in the EU’s information system before placing relevant commodities — cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, wood, and derived products — on the EU market under the Deforestation Regulation. It confirms that due diligence was carried out and that the products are deforestation-free and legally produced, and it carries the geolocation of every plot of origin. Submitting one takes on legal responsibility.
